AGES 15-25 | JULY 2023 | COLORADO
The Neurodiversity Drone Camp is a two-day training program designed specifically for neurodivergent students. The program provides comprehensive instruction on using drones for mapping and data collection, with a mix of classroom and outdoor activities. The program runs from 9am to 3pm each day, with person-centered accommodations and plenty of breaks to ensure the comfort and well-being of participants.
Our goal is to use this DEI in STEM event as a catalyst to propel the drone industry in Colorado to new heights, and to provide opportunities and support for the neurodiverse (I/DD) community. To achieve this, we are partnering with First Community Foundation, the FAA Safety Team, and the Autism Society of Colorado. Through this partnership, we aim to provide a unique and valuable experience for participants and make a meaningful impact on the drone industry and the neurodiverse community.
We are looking for individuals, organizations and companies who share our vision of providing opportunities and support for the neurodiverse community and promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in STEM fields. If you are interested in being a part of this exciting initiative and making a difference in the neurodiverse community and STEM industry, please contact us to learn more about how you can get involved.
